Cobh was a major location for immigration from Ireland.   From 1848 - 1950 over 6 million adults and children emigrated from Ireland - over 2.5 million departed from Cobh, making it the single most important port of emigration.

Cobh, then known as Queenstown was also the last port of call of the Titanic

We will visit the Cobh Heritage Center
We will arrive in Cobh on May 1 and will stay in Cobh the nights of May 1and 2 before departing on May 3  for Tralee
