We are scheduled to arrive in Dublin around 9:00 AM on Tuesday April 26.  After clearing customs and immigration, we will travel to the Abbey Court Hostel by chartered bus.  Because of the early hour we will probably not be able to check in to the hotel but will just drop off our bags.

We will then do a walking tour of Dublin.  We will visit Connolly Station and I will show you how to use LUAS (light rail).  We will walk to O'Connell Street to see the Daniel O'Connell statue and the GPO (government post office), crossing the River Liffey we will visit Trinity College and see the Book of Kells. We will then proceed to Grafton Street, one of the main shopping areas of Dublin.  Then we will visit St. Stephen's Green. Reversing our route we will explore some of the narrow cobblestone streets of the Temple Bar area where we will probably stop for lunch.

We should then be able to check into our rooms at the hotel.  In the evening we will do a coach tour of North Dublin which will include a stop for dinner..
